Casual Physiotherapist/Sport Therapists
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are hiring a Casual Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist to support the Academy games programme. This includes home and away fixtures and evening Injury Clinic opportunities.
Job Details
- Department: Academy Medical Department
- Reports to: Head of Academy Physiotherapy
- Remuneration: £61 per home fixture / £123 per away fixture / 1.5x Match Fee for Tournaments & Triangular Fixtures / Hourly rate for clinic cover
- Location: Landore Training Ground, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (Home Games)
- Contract/Working Pattern: Casual part time role within the academy, primarily evenings and weekends, covering U9-14 age groups. Successful applicants must make their own way to local games.
Essential Requirements
- BSc Physiotherapy/Sports Therapy
- Registered with HCPC and CSP or SST
- FA ITMMiF or equivalent pitch side emergency medical qualification: RFL IMMoFP, RFU PHICIS 3, SCRUMCAPS, ITMMiF, EMMiITS, or UEFA Sports Promote Course
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Willingness to travel to games
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a paediatric sporting environment
Core Duties
- Diagnosis and treatment of injuries pitch side
- Early injury management advice
- Trauma management
- Communication with Head of Academy Physiotherapy to update on injuries sustained during games
