FULL DESCRIPTION

Match Day Therapist/Sport Therapists

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking Match Day Therapists/Sport Therapists to provide pitch side medical cover for academy matches. This is a casual part-time role with home fixture fees £50.00 and away fixture fees £100.00. The role covers locations in Wales (Swansea and surrounding areas) and England (London, Midlands, South West).

Department and Reporting

Department: Academy Medical Department
Report to: Head of Academy Physiotherapy

Essential Qualifications

  • BSc Physiotherapy/ Sports Therapy
  • Registered with HCPC and CSP or SST
  • FA ITMMiF or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work weekends
  • Willing to travel to games

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working in a paediatric sporting environment

Core Duties

  • Diagnosis and treatment of injuries pitch side
  • Early injury management advice/programmes
  • Trauma management
  • Communication with Head of Academy Physiotherapy to update on any injuries sustained during games
