Digital Marketing Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £21,673.00 - £22,000.00 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full Time (40 hrs/week)

Purpose of Role
To support the Head of Digital to manage and develop the club’s digital assets, including the official club website, app and other digital channels to ensure that [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] delivers an exceptional level of supporter engagement and strong commercial return.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse engagement across all digital channels and drive department KPIs
- Work with media and commercial departments to deliver successful digital campaigns for sponsors and partners
- Plan and implement paid advertising campaigns on Meta, TikTok and Google
- Review campaign results and create reports
- Ensure marketing materials are up to date across the Stadium and beyond
- Manage marketing materials across digital screens in and around the Stadium
- Provide general marketing support for retail/ticketing campaigns
- Oversee collation of key data including website analytics and user testing
- Create monthly reports for all digital channels to stakeholders and sponsors
- Review new digital technologies to keep the club at the forefront of digital in football
- Evaluate supporter research, market conditions and competitor data; implement new strategies
- Ensure digital assets are part of wider marketing and communication strategies
Person Specification
- At least one year's experience in a digital marketing/media role
- Experience leading analysis of effective digital content across channels
- Comprehensive understanding of digital industry, current trends and future developments
- Thorough understanding of sports industry and particularly football
- In-depth knowledge of current digital technologies and future trends
- Experienced with Google Analytics and website analytics platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present at board level
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work outside normal office hours including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Highly driven and assertive
- Working knowledge of content management systems and media channels
