First Team Tactical Analyst

Role Overview

This role will be responsible for improving the performance of the first team through the production and delivery of key information to support players and coaching staff. This role will complement the department in all aspects, with a strong emphasis being based around pre-match preparation and opposition analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of both our team and opposition team in accordance with club philosophy
• Coding of first team training to compliment pre-match analysis themes & work with the coaching staff to present this
• Production and delivery of pre-match reports to analysis department & first team coaches
• Telestration of pre-match reports & post-match meetings
• Assist in compiling opposition individual reports & opposition workbooks provided to first team players and coaching staff
• Assistance with set piece analysis & telestration
• Filming and/or live coding of first team games
• Progression of working methods in the analysis department

Person Specification

Essential: Related sports degree or sufficient equivalent experience. Experience of working within a first team football environment. Experience producing & dissecting both pre & post-match reports. Experience with video camera technology, Mac and PC operating systems, Hudl / Sportscode & Insights / Hudl Replay, SBG / Focus & Matchtracker, Telestration Software (Piero / Studio).

Desirable: Experience with Tableau, iBooks Author, Drone Experience.
