About the Role

Working as an integral part of the Football Strategic Management Team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], the Head of Analysis ensures comprehensive delivery of performance analysis for the first team and academy. The role requires strong football knowledge, high technical proficiency in analysis software, and experience managing a team. You will evaluate and recommend software solutions, operate within a modern multidisciplinary team, and connect with other functions as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the club’s performance analysis provision across all teams and age groups.
  • Ensure strong collaboration and integration from all key stakeholders.
  • Support insights with video, data, or tactical experiences.
  • Support the Head Coach, coaching staff, and players with appropriate resources.
  • Connect the club’s footballing philosophy across all aspects of performance analysis.
  • Apply innovative methods for production and delivery of analysis.
  • Ensure the analysis team has necessary skills and resources.
  • Build and oversee a library of best practice from training and fixtures.

Technical Skills

Essential proficiency in performance analysis software: Sportscode, Hudl, Adobe Creative Suite, Video annotation software, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Microsoft Office, and Tableau.
