Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Java Kotlin Developer to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves backend development, API and microservice building, and collaboration in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, testers and the wider organisation to build and run products
- Design, develop, implement backend features per backlog priority
- Collabrate with engineering team to design and launch new features
- Build APIs and microservices
- Work in an Agile CI/CD environment
- Participate in peer reviews and test others' code
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in Java with Kotlin
- Experience in at least two of: API development, SQL databases, HTML, JavaScript
- Lots of experience with microservices
- Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Agile including Jira and Confluence
- Good interpersonal and English skills
Nice to Have
Good working knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
