SENIOR ARCHITECT – WEBLOGIC / LINUX

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a strong Senior Architect – WebLogic / Linux to support a high-profile public sector Oracle Intelligent Advisor platform. This role is heavily focused on enterprise platform support, WebLogic administration, Linux environment management, clustering, release readiness, and multi-environment setup across Dev, Pre-Prod and Production.

Key Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration on Linux platforms
  • Expertise in WebLogic domain administration, clustering, managed servers, Node Manager, deployments, restart/recovery, and environment stabilisation
  • Solid Linux administration experience in enterprise or classic environments, including patching, services, permissions, scheduling, logs, security controls, and operational support
  • Proven experience setting up and supporting Dev, Test, Pre-Prod and Prod environments with strong configuration discipline
  • Experience with release support, deployment readiness, rollback planning, runbook updates, and production platform support
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, automation, monitoring, and operational documentation
  • Familiarity with certificates, secrets, environment configuration, and platform-level dependency management
  • Experience supporting resilient WebLogic estates and working with infrastructure, platform, and release teams in controlled enterprise environments
  • Oracle Intelligent Advisor / Oracle Policy Automation development or platform support experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with Oracle on-prem connectors and Java SOAP integrations is mandatory

Must Have

  • Strong WebLogic and Linux platform ownership mindset
  • Ability to support environment setup, platform maintenance, and release coordination
  • Experience in regulated or public sector delivery environments is preferred
  • Must be eligible for valid BPSS clearance
