Software Security Technical Delivery Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Orchestration: Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. Identify architectural risks and technical debt before they impact delivery.
• DevSecOps Champion: Ensure automated and compliant controls, manage risk and compliance of the product and services.
• Day-to-Day Operations: Manage sprint health, remove technical blockers, facilitate high-signal standups. Balance feature rush with system stability.
• Hands-on Support: Capable of deep-dive code reviews, debugging infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), or troubleshooting production incidents.
• Open Source Advocacy: Guide team in selecting and implementing open-source tools to replace proprietary vendor platforms.

Skills & Experience Requirements

• 10 years in software development with recent hands-on experience in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• GCP understanding: Google Cloud Infrastructure, GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, Cloud SQL PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, SRE) using Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Stakeholder management: Identify related initiatives, manage dependencies and stakeholders.
• Practical experience implementing security-first delivery: managing secrets, KMS, container security, compliance-as-code.
• Data-driven leadership: Ability to use DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time) to drive continuous improvement.
