Site Manager - Lizard Peninsula

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Site Manager to cover the Lizard peninsula area. This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week, part-time considered) with a salary of Grade G - £20,201 - £25,620. The role involves managing and maintaining school buildings and estates to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.

About the Role

Working together to maintain and improve our estates and provide an environment where children will thrive and learning will flourish. The Premises Team, sitting within the Core Service Team, is responsible for ensuring that our buildings are fully operational, legally compliant and excellent learning environments. You will be joining a highly skilled and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain school buildings and grounds
  • Ensure legal compliance and health & safety standards
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs across multiple sites
  • Supervise and lead a team
  • Manage budgets and resources

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled with a 'can do' attitude
  • Full driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
  • Experience in building maintenance or facilities management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
