Job Description

An exciting and challenging role has arisen at schools that are joining [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in January 2023.

The role is to be the named SENDCo at Coverack, Manaccan and St Keverne, working within the new Lizard Hub of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].

The three schools currently have 126 on roll, with 18 children on the record of need (14.3%) at present.

The role will be working across the three settings, with time managed on a needs basis. A key part of the role will be supporting teachers to ensure that all children, particularly those with SEND, receive the very best education within the classroom. The role will also be the named Mental Health Lead for the three settings.

As working as part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], the SENDCO will be supported by a wide network of colleagues.

The role is a permanent position for 0.5 FTE. Flexible working requests can be supported and can be discussed at interview.
