Key Responsibilities

  • Lead curriculum design and implementation, ensuring a broad, balanced, coherent curriculum underpinned by Catholic values.
  • Oversee the school timetable and assessment practices to track pupil progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and student outcomes, providing support and challenge to staff.
  • Drive improvements in teaching, learning, and assessment for outstanding outcomes.
  • Develop staff through professional development and well-being strategies.
  • Build relationships with pupils, parents, staff, governors, and the wider community.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive school culture aligned with Catholic ethos.

Candidate Requirements

  • Practising Catholic with commitment to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
  • Proven leadership experience in education.
  • Strong track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.
