Director of English & Literacy job summary

We are looking to employ a talented, ambitious leader to join our successful team as the Director of English & Literacy. The Director of English & Literacy will take a major role in driving forward the vision of the school, ensuring students achieve well in English and have the literacy skills they need.
Key responsibilities
- To establish outstanding provision within English across all key stages
- Ensuring the smooth and effective running of the department
- Leadership of a Department Improvement Plan
- Providing robust and inspirational leadership
