Skills and Experience Required

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for an exceptional EYFS practitioner to lead the Early Years phase. As EYFS Phase Leader, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Early Years team
  • Be accountable for quality of education, provision and outcomes across Nursery and Reception
  • Drive high-quality teaching, inclusive practice and strong pupil progress
  • Use assessment effectively to identify priorities and improve outcomes
  • Support and develop colleagues through coaching, collaboration and professional dialogue
  • Work closely with senior leaders to contribute to whole-school improvement

  • Is an excellent EYFS practitioner with proven impact on pupil outcomes
  • Has the potential and ambition to lead and inspire others
  • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, assessment and child development

  • Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider community
  • Is organised, reflective and motivated to develop their leadership skills
