Salary: £22,608 - £24,097 per annum (FTE £26,403 - £28,142)
Working pattern: Full time, term time plus 5 days (39 weeks)

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and inclusive school community at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Key Responsibilities
- Provide planned and unplanned lesson cover, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support teachers with planning, assessment, and feedback to improve student progress
- Deliver targeted interventions, including reading interventions, to support students making less than expected progress
- Lead 1:1 and small group support sessions to close attainment gaps
- Support students with SEND and additional needs to access learning effectively
- Monitor, record, and report on student progress and attainment
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment, promoting strong behaviour and wellbeing
Essential Criteria
- Level 3 HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
- Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
- Ability to support teaching and learning across a range of subjects
- Experience delivering targeted interventions, including 1:1 and small group work (e.g. reading interventions)
- Good understanding of student learning, including SEND needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- Confident in leading learning, including covering lessons where required
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- Positive, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students
