About the job

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a small but growing secondary Academy. We are seeking an experienced and committed Exams Officer to drive all aspects of examinations during a period of maternity cover. The role is offered working 35 hours per week, 42 working weeks per year (term time plus 5 development days and additional 3 weeks). The successful applicant will play a key role in the effective planning, coordination, and administration of all internal and external examinations within the academy, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations.

The postholder is responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail across all aspects of exam administration. This includes ensuring all students are given appropriate arrangements and support to perform to the best of their ability.

Requirements

  • Ability to build and establish successful relationships with pupils and their families.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, spoken and electronic.
  • Skillset to produce and analyse data reports in relation to attendance.
  • Knowledge of Arbor desirable.
