Salary: Actual salary: £16,101.09 - £17,489.68 per annum (FTE: £31,327.01 - £34,028.72)

Working pattern: Part time: 22.5 hours per week - Permanent - Term Time Only

About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a School Counsellor to provide a professional, confidential, and student-centered counselling service within the school, promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and improved engagement with learning. The post holder will deliver evidence-informed therapeutic interventions, contribute to a whole-school approach to mental health, and work in line with safeguarding, data protection, and professional ethical standards.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For

  • Qualified counsellor with appropriate professional accreditation
  • Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to young people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality
  • Ability to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
  • Commitment to professional ethical standards
