Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress
  • Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
  • Support students’ academic and personal development as a Form Tutor
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners
  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
  • Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (or the potential to do so)
  • Is committed to high expectations and student success
  • Works effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrates resilience, professionalism, and a positive attitude
