We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher for our new Specialist Resource Provision, particularly focusing on SEMH needs for September 2026. The SRP Teacher will lead this provision and shape its development from the outset.

You will provide high‑quality teaching, learning, and pastoral support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will deliver an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports pupils’ academic progress, communication, independence, and emotional well‑being, while promoting inclusion across the school.

The Role

This is a key leadership role within our Inclusion Team, with the opportunity to work closely with the Headteacher and SENDCo. It is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be.

You will:

  • Lead and manage the Specialist Resource Provision, ensuring the effective use of time, staffing and resources.
  • Design, plan and deliver a high-quality, personalised curriculum for students within the SRP.
  • Line manage the SRP team and oversee all practice within.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on student progress, using data to drive improvement.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, local authorities and external professionals.
  • Contribute to CPD and whole-school development in inclusive practice.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has a proven ability to teach pupils with C&I / SEMH needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques, delivering inclusive and adaptive practice.
  • Brings strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Has the ability to lead a provision and manage, motivate and support staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice
  • Can reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
  • Can use their initiative to solve problems.
  • Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
  • Can build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
