Job Summary

About the Music Department
The Music department seeks to provide an outstanding range of opportunities for every pupil, whatever their level, instrument or ability. Nearly three hundred pupils (over a third of the school) play or sing in at least one ensemble, and nearly 500 music lessons are taught here every week by a team of wonderful music teachers. Most importantly, we seek to make music-making here highly enjoyable and infectiously fun!
Role and Responsibilities
- Teach AQA GCSE and A Level Music, as well as Music as part of the IB Diploma Programme.
- Direct and contribute to a wide range of ensembles including choirs, orchestras, and chamber music groups.
- Support the extensive concert programme including the Spring Choral Concert, House Music Competitions, musicals, and evensongs at venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
- Work collaboratively with a team of visiting music teachers and departmental staff.
Qualifications and Experience
Suitably experienced, well-qualified and enthusiastic. The salary will be commensurate with the post and depend upon qualifications and experience.
