The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join the School as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in the role of Director of Sixth Form, from September 2025. The vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current postholder to a Deputy Head position. Working closely with the Senior Deputy Head (Academic), the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Assistant Head: Higher Education and Careers, the Director of Sixth Form is responsible for the provision of a high quality, stimulating and stretching sixth form experience which will serve our students well in higher education and set them up for happy, effective lives beyond formal education. They will be committed to the continued close alignment of the academic and pastoral sides of school life.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience teaching up to Key Stage 5
  • Experience of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is advantageous
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
