Role Overview
The Assistant Head: Teaching and Learning will join the Senior Leadership Team to play a key role in the future development of this excellent school. Working closely with the Head, Deputy Heads and Assistant Heads on a daily basis, the postholder will ensure that our pupils receive an inspiring and forward-thinking education which prepares them for a fulfilling professional and personal life. The Assistant Head: Teaching and Learning will take a lead in the development of teaching and learning throughout the school. This includes encouraging staff to engage with educational research to ensure that all girls receive a rigorous and stimulating learning experience which meets their individual needs. We aim to promote a rewarding and enjoyable environment in which self-reflection and collaborative discussion amongst teachers is commonplace. In addition the postholder will ensure that parents are well informed about our ethos and approaches and will respond to enquiries as needed.
Requirements
- Outstanding teacher with a record of fostering academic excellence
