Events and Engagement Coordinator

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a cross-party organisation representing 169 member councils. This role is pivotal in organising events and engagement activities.

Salary: £34,198 - £39,138 per annum | Hours: Full time | Contract: Permanent

About the Role

You will lead on the administration and co-ordination of events, including identifying venues, managing logistics, overseeing delegate attendance and developing event programmes. You will also ensure the smooth running of regular engagement meetings, provide professional business support to senior [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] figures, and help build and maintain councillor and officer networks. As the first point of contact for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will provide timely communication with membership, sponsors, and partners, and assist with financial management.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience organising events and administering an office or organisation, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and use own initiative to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities.
