We’re now looking for a Technical Specialist to join our Machines & Mechatronics team—a senior, hands-on expert who thrives on technical leadership, innovation, and mentoring others.

The Opportunity
As a Technical Specialist, you’ll be the technical authority across key projects—leading from the front, ensuring excellence in delivery, and driving innovation across the team.
- Lead high-value technical projects and ensure delivery on time, budget, and quality
- Take ownership of technical governance and engineering standards
- Champion a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement
- Provide mentorship and coaching, developing the next generation of engineers
- Roll up your sleeves with hands-on problem solving and system optimisation
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a seasoned engineering professional with the credibility and confidence to lead:
Essential:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years’ experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering
- Strong background in electro-mechanical system design & testing
- Expertise in automation, machines, and system integration
- Proven track record leading large or multiple complex projects
- Advanced knowledge of engineering standards (BS8888, GD&T, etc.)
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver end-to-end projects
Desirable:
- Automation safety standards (ISO 12100, ISO 13849, etc.)
- Industry 4.0 / 5.0 awareness
- PLC or programming experience (C++, Python, IEC 61131)
- Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or vision systems knowledge
