H3 – Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team to provide support within classroom; this could be in KS1 or KS2, working part-time, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.

This role includes supporting teachers with pupils learning. This might be through supporting learning during lessons or delivering interventions to individuals or groups of children. In some cases, and depending on experience and ability, there may be a requirement to cover classes for teachers’ PPA time or who may be temporarily absent.

Experience is preferable and enthusiasm, and commitment to learning the necessary skills to advance pupil’s learning are essential. We are interested in someone who is passionate about working in a school and can demonstrate a good understanding of how pupils learn. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are required, along with excellent communication skills.

This fixed term position is initially for one year. Salary is £25,583 per annum, pro rata.
