EYFS Lead

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher to lead the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a full-time, permanent position with MPS/UPS salary and TLR 2c.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Have high expectations and demonstrate commitment to raising standards.
  • Be a practising Catholic or support the Catholic faith of the school.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the Early Years Framework.
  • Work positively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Lead strategic development of the EYFS curriculum and learning environments.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality of teaching and learning in EYFS.
  • Track and assess children’s progress accurately.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)
  • Honours degree or equivalent (Essential)
  • Successful teaching experience (Essential)
  • Knowledge of EYFS framework and National Curriculum (Essential)
  • Good ICT skills (Essential)
