About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a safe, secure, and welcoming school setting, promoting teamwork, motivating staff, and building strong working relationships to drive continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust as it continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a member of the senior management team and assist the Headteacher in managing the school.
- Undertake class teacher responsibilities as required.
- Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement, and the implementation of the school's Mission Statement.
- Lead and manage staff, including performance appraisal and professional development.
- Ensure high standards of pupil care, safeguarding, and discipline.
- Manage resources effectively, including financial and material assets.
- Develop relationships with parents, parishes, and the wider community.
Person Specification – Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree.
- Practising Catholic (desirable but essential for the role context).
- Substantial leadership and management experience, including staff development and school self-evaluation.
- Excellent communication, ICT, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge teams and pupils.
