Senior Business Support Assistant (Compliance)

Salary: £28,577 - £30,092 per year | Type: Full-time, Temporary | Work: Hybrid

Job Description

We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Compliance team within Housing Services at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. In this role you will provide essential business support to help the team deliver key landlord compliance programmes, including gas safety, electrical safety, asbestos and legionella, working closely with colleagues, contractors and customers.

As part of this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and certificates, updating internal systems, raising and tracking works orders, coordinating appointments and communications with tenants, and supporting day-to-day administrative and financial processes.

Key Requirements

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working with data and digital systems
  • Experience coordinating tasks and working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external contractors
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers over the phone and in writing
  • Knowledge or experience of statutory compliance within housing (gas, electrical safety, asbestos, legionella) is particularly relevant
  • Experience of working in a housing or compliance environment, using housing management/repairs systems, and supporting basic financial processes such as purchase orders and invoice processing
