Communication Support Worker

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Communication Support Worker to support deaf children and young people in educational settings.

  • Location: Strathdevon Primary School, Park Place, Dollar, FK14 7AA and Tillicoultry Primary School
  • Salary: £33,945.03 - £37,704.53 per year pro rata
  • Contract: Permanent, Part Time (27.5 hours per week)
  • Closing Date: 29/05/2026

Job Description

Please note as this post is part time term time, your salary will be pro rata to hours and weeks worked. If you start out with the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay. Once this adjustment has been completed, you will receive a 12th of your annual salary thereafter. You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay is due to advise of the amount that will be deducted. If you start on the first day of term, this will not apply to you. The main purpose of the post is to support deaf children/young people and their families. The support provided will be responsive to the needs of the child/young person and will be flexible and well planned to meet their needs within education establishments, family homes and the community. The expectation is that the post holder will be required to work from 9.00 am to 3:00pm however, some flexibility may be required.
