  • Salary: £33,370 per annum, Band D, Level 3, inclusive of a market supplement

A bit about the role

This is a hands-on Facilities Technician role where your work makes a real difference every day. You’ll help keep buildings and outdoor spaces safe, well maintained, and welcoming for young people, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

The Facilities team is supportive, professional, and focused on doing things properly. People work independently but stay closely connected across sites, sharing knowledge and helping each other. The culture is based on trust, high standards, and practical solutions that add real value.

No two days are the same. You’ll carry out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance across different trades, identify and fix issues early, and help make improvements that extend the life of buildings and equipment. You’ll also manage your own workload, keep records up to date, and be the main point of contact for contractors on site.

You’ll be trusted to organise your day, supported to develop your skills, and encouraged to take a practical, problem-solving approach. This is a role for someone who enjoys varied, physical work and wants to see the direct impact of what they do.
