This role supervises day-to-day works operations at one of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] locations.
How you’ll contribute to our mission
Supervise the day to day works operations including maintenance and refurbishment of all buildings, enclosures, facilities and infrastructure owned by [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
- Take the day-to-day lead to ensure all assigned works repairs and projects are delivered effectively, safely, on time and to budget.
- Supervise electrical, plumbing, gas servicing/heating, roofing, fire/intruder alarms, automatic doors, drainage, lift maintenance, aircon/refrigeration maintenance, PPM/compliance works.
- Highlight issues requiring maintenance and documentation, meeting legislation and best practice.
- Ensure all sub-contractors work to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] guidelines.
- Maintain consolidated stock list and order supplies per formal procedures.
- Ensure record systems, inspections and testing are maintained.
- Work collaboratively and provide guidance to other sections.
- Keep customers updated on progress and provide technical support.
- Input into project designs and budgets, ensure legislation met.
- Highlight and assist with site risks.
- Ensure all areas safe and well presented for visitors.
What we’re looking for
- Relevant City and Guilds certification or S/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of building related health and safety legislation
- Working knowledge of risk assessment processes
- Understanding of structural design principles and ability to work to design drawings
- Experience of maintenance and construction of buildings
- Working to parameters of CDM, building and health and safety regulations
