Project Support Officer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Project Support Officer to support the implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (mediSIGHT) in the Ophthalmology Directorate. The role involves providing project and administrative support, maintaining risks/issues logs, developing SOPs and training manuals, supporting clinical staff with digital transition, and producing reports. Requires degree level qualification, previous project support experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide comprehensive project and administrative support to the Digital Nurse/Assistant Directorate Manager in the implementation of the Directorate's Electronic Patient Record.
  • To maintain Risks/Issues log providing status reports as required.
  • Development of SOPS, training manuals and communication plan.
  • Supporting clinical staff with the changes needed to move to digital working
  • To continue to develop the EPR post implementation, producing reports from its Audit suite as required.
  • Provision of training for clinical staff in the use of the EPR

Person specification

Education/Experience

Essential criteria

  • Qualified to Degree Level or equivalent Experience
  • Previous project support experience
  • Experience of leading projects and producing project management documentation
  • Ability to use Excel at an advanced level

Desirable criteria

  • Ability to demonstrate investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Prince 2 Foundation Qualification
