The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £16.70 - £17.84. Posts: 30 hours per week and 22.5 hours per week. Days & Hours of Work: 07:00-15:00 on a 2 week rolling rota. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, & Sunday. Week 2: Tuesday - Friday. To start 1st August 2026.

Job Details

To provide assistance, encouragement, practical and emotional support to the service user within their own home with all aspects of daily living including personal care and domestic tasks. Working in partnership with the Health and Social Care professionals and Line Manager, the post holder will hold a key role in the care planning process, setting aims and targets for individual clients enabling them to maximise their full potential and independence. Job Requirements

• Relevant Qualifications: SVQ 2 Health and Social Care at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent knowledge/skills. If not held, must undertake course to obtain SVQ Level 2 within required timescale to meet SSSC requirements.
• SSSC registration is essential; must apply within six months of start if not already registered.
• Driving Licence: Must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments considered for disabilities).
• PVG Membership: This post is a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults. Preferred candidates must become a PVG Scheme member or undergo an update prior to formal offer.
• Overseas criminal record check required if spent more than 3 months working/living outside UK in last 5 years.
