Location: THE PIG - on the beach, Studland, Swanage, BH19 3AU
Salary: £13.41 per hour (OTE £15.74 per hour)
Hours: 35 per week
Job Type: Full-time
About the role
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to support our bar team.
Our bars at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are unique! We mash, muddle, blend, shake and throw our way to making our guests the perfect drink. All of our cocktails are designed with the kitchen garden in mind. This provides all of the essential ingredients to infuse our locally sourced spirits. Our vodkas are infused by the herbs, flowers and berries from the kitchen garden, bacon is added to our bourbon and caramel to our rum. There is no limit to what we can do and this all comes from the creative minds of our bar team.
As Assistant Bar Manager you will be supporting the effective operation of the bar areas. You will support the Bar Manager by developing the skills of the team. You will monitor their progress and creative flair both behind the bar and on the floor.
Our Assistant Bar Manager must be confident and driven to provide a quality, yet relaxed style of service.
Experience as an Assistant Bar Manager, or similar is preferred, along with the knowledge of classic cocktails and skills to mix modern twists!
