Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £14.16 per hour)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Full-time

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Hotel, Brockenhurst. As a Maintenance Assistant you will work as part of a small team, cohesively maintaining the functionality, efficiency, health & safety of the hotel. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with knowledge and understanding of fire safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs of damaged facilities and equipment
- Painting and decorating
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with renovations and additional projects
- Manage preventative maintenance
- Ensure health & safety compliance and fire safety
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
- Qualifications or exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health and safety
- 'Hands on' attitude with a 'can do' approach
