About the Role
We are looking for motivated team players ready for a new challenge in our fast paced Emergency Department. The band 5 role is dynamic and exciting, offering exposure to many different conditions and injuries. We support you to develop skills via our bespoke nurse competency training package, covering resuscitation, triage, and ongoing care in majors and minor injuries.
Main Duties
- Participating in development and delivery of a philosophy of care involving/respecting rights of patients, carers, and staff.
- Ability to relate to all staff and patients confidently, demonstrating good listening skills and teamwork.
- Creating, maintaining, and enhancing effective working relationships.
- Recognizing and managing conflict to promote a healthy working environment.
- Maintaining awareness of national and regional initiatives.
- Participating in individual performance review and clinical supervision.
- Contributing to the Trust's Nursing Charter standards and Shared Leadership process.
- Acting as a positive ambassador for the Trust.
- Striving for continuous improvements in high quality patient focused care.
- Submitting new ideas/innovations aimed at improving patient care.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse
Experience: Extensive post registration in the Emergency Department
Skills and Abilities: Ability to plan, assess, implement and evaluate patient care; Prioritise tasks; Develop and maintain positive working relationships
