Requirements and responsibilities:

• Excellent communicator
• Good knowledge and understanding of the till system
• Taking customer orders and delivering food drinks
• Menu/wine list/ recommendations
• Good knowledge of menu and ingredients
• Answering the phone taking bookings accurately
• Hosting customers to their tables
• Making table plans and communicating customer requirements to staff and the kitchen
• Setting up sections and delegating accordingly
• Good communications with customers and fellow staff
• Setting up the restaurant in accordance with lunch evening service
• Making sure daily job list is completed
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Where there is a problem , assessing the facts and dealing with it on its merits making sure that the best outcome is achieved
