Capital Projects Manager

Overview of role
We’re looking for a Capital Projects Manager to take the lead on some of our most exciting and business‑critical engineering projects. From the first spark of an idea right through to full delivery, you’ll shape solutions that make our operations safer, smarter and more efficient. Key Accountabilities
- Leading capital projects end‑to‑end – Scope, plan and deliver complex engineering and facility projects — ensuring they land on time, within budget and to the highest safety and compliance standards.
- Driving great project controls – Own cost estimation, planning, scheduling, procurement, risk and contractor management.
- Turning ideas into engineering solutions – Translate operational challenges into robust engineering designs and proposals.
- Embedding safety and compliance – Champion safe working, CDM compliance and food safety (including HACCP and BRC requirements) across every project.
- Partnering across the business – Work collaboratively with Operations, Technical, Finance and other teams.
The Right Person
- Engineering know‑how – HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and hands‑on operational experience.
- Proven project delivery experience – Led complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communicator and influencer – Confident working at all levels.
- Natural problem‑solver – Curious, asks great questions, finds practical solutions.
