About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Company’s Education and Skills Team is recruiting for a Skills Development Tutor – Plastering, to support the delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality training across a range of funded programmes. This role focuses on helping learners achieve positive outcomes through engaging and accessible teaching.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver face-to-face and blended digital learning that supports the development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs), tailored to Apprenticeships and Adult Learning programmes.
- Use initial diagnostics to assess learners’ starting points, set collaborative goals, and monitor progress with learners and stakeholders.
- Mark work accurately and provide structured feedback aligned with learning policies.
- Conduct regular workplace visits to support apprentices and maintain strong employer relationships.
- Track progress, identify learners at risk, and apply additional support where needed.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to curriculum development based on feedback.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing are proactively managed through risk assessments and safe learning environments.
About You
- Able to plan and manage workload independently and work well within a team.
- Confident teaching Plastering at Levels 1 and 2.
- Comfortable using digital systems and eLearning platforms.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, learning, and assessment within the Plastering sector.
- Hold PTLLS or A1/Assessor Award (training available if not held).
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures, including emergency protocols.
- Vocational plastering delivery qualifications at a minimum of level 2.
