About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Company’s ([Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) MOJ Personal Wellbeing team have an exciting new opportunity for a Wellbeing Key Worker to contribute to individuals’ sustained improvement in health and wellbeing, progression into employment and training and education through the delivery of a range of guidance and training services for customers under the supervision of National Probation Service.

This role will be working across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised wellbeing support tailored to individual needs and levels of complexity.
  • Manage and support a diverse caseload of service users to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, including screening for learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local services, ensuring appropriate signposting and multi‑agency collaboration.
  • Produce high‑quality, strength‑based action plans for service users.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate group sessions to support wellbeing progression.
  • Ensure full compliance with wellbeing contract requirements.

About You

  • Confident working in a target‑driven environment with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
  • Skilled in delivering impactful one‑to‑one interventions.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to support service delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal communicator, able to engage service users and work effectively with partners.
  • Knowledgeable about local health and wellbeing services, particularly within a justice setting.
  • Experienced in managing caseloads and supporting individuals to improve their wellbeing.
  • Able to develop strength‑based action plans that empower service users.

Skills Required

  • Ability to deliver high‑quality wellbeing interventions.
  • Strong partnership‑building and communication skills.
  • Competence in use of IT and CRM systems to enable timely record‑keeping in line with MOJ requirements.
  • Experience of wellbeing progression within a criminal justice environment.
  • Understanding of quality standards in justice‑based delivery.
  • Desirable: Substance Misuse Awareness, ACEs awareness, Motivational Interviewing skills, Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Awareness/Prevention, Domestic Abuse awareness.
  • Willingness to undertake supervision, observations and ongoing CPD.
