FULL DESCRIPTION

This senior leadership role involves providing strategic and operational leadership across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and other Bristol nurseries. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus performance bonus. Full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & safeguarding leadership

  • Lead quality assurance cycles including audits, observations and action planning
  • Strengthen safeguarding culture and DSL standards across settings
  • Ensure nurseries are consistently Ofsted-ready with strong evidence of impact

Leadership & people management

  • Coach, mentor and support Nursery Managers and leadership teams
  • Oversee performance management, succession planning and team development
  • Support complex people matters including wellbeing, conduct and capability

Operational & commercial oversight

  • Drive operational consistency across settings
  • Support workforce planning, staffing structures and ratios
  • Work alongside the Head of Region on occupancy, budgets and wage control

About You

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Senior Nursery Manager
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
  • Confident leader with the ability to influence and develop other managers
  • Commercially aware and solutions-focused
  • Passionate about quality, people development and child outcomes
