This senior leadership role involves providing strategic and operational leadership across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and other Bristol nurseries. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus performance bonus. Full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & safeguarding leadership
- Lead quality assurance cycles including audits, observations and action planning
- Strengthen safeguarding culture and DSL standards across settings
- Ensure nurseries are consistently Ofsted-ready with strong evidence of impact
Leadership & people management
- Coach, mentor and support Nursery Managers and leadership teams
- Oversee performance management, succession planning and team development
- Support complex people matters including wellbeing, conduct and capability
Operational & commercial oversight
- Drive operational consistency across settings
- Support workforce planning, staffing structures and ratios
- Work alongside the Head of Region on occupancy, budgets and wage control
About You
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Senior Nursery Manager
- Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Confident leader with the ability to influence and develop other managers
- Commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Passionate about quality, people development and child outcomes
