Main Purpose of the Role
The Site Assistant is responsible for supporting the Estates and Facilities Manager in:
- Helping to maintain clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and grounds.
- Assisting with cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance, porterage, and minor repairs.
- Promoting health and safety across the school.

- Awareness of health and safety requirements
- Basic DIY and maintenance skills along with experience in cleaning and handyperson tasks
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Experience of working in a team preferably in school or similar environment

- Commitment to safeguarding, equality and confidentiality
- Adaptable to changing needs and able to follow procedures
