Primary Liaison Coordinator/Pastoral Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an individual with a positive, professional and enthusiastic approach to work closely with the Assistant Headteacher (responsible for Primary Liaison) in promoting effective communication with all our partner primary schools, ensuring a smooth transition from Year 6 to Year 7 to enable sustained student progress.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working with children (11-16) preferably in a busy educational setting
  • Experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage
  • Excellent and efficient organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS)
  • Calm and tactful approach
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient
  • Clean driving licence required (visiting feeder schools and home visits)
