About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to take responsibility for the Pastoral Care of a year group of approximately 300 students in this highly respected and over-subscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school. Heads of Year rotate with their year group to maintain continuity of support for pupils. Teachers of any subject may apply.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious and dynamic person who will have the ability to manage a team of tutors and support the academic and pastoral needs of students. They will be passionate about their subject and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of achievement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone aspiring to Leadership.
