Dimensional Management Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Dimensional Management Engineers with a background in the automobile industry (Body in White & Exterior/Interior). If you know someone who would be a great fit, please refer them!
Key Responsibilities
- Define measurement systems, locator strategies, and tolerance specifications for BiW components and exterior trims.
- Ensure robustness of measurement systems from part fabrication to complete BiW.
- Analyze functional requirements and create measurement strategies for module fitment.
- Align tolerance concepts with stakeholders and perform 1D, 2D, or 3D tolerance stack-up studies to mitigate production risks.
- Execute tolerance simulation in 3DCS to validate manufacturing robustness.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of project outputs.
- Create and implement Gap & Flush plans to achieve visual and perceived quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and provide solutions.
- Develop sub-module and closures integration concepts to meet production planning requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience with 3D tolerance simulation tools (preferably 3DCS).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and perceived quality.
- Understanding of Body in White manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Familiarity with various measurement systems and inspection methods.
- Working proficiency in NX CAD.
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
