Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and ongoing improvement of scalable and secure software components.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver automation and orchestration features for telco cloud environments.
- Maintain high code quality through structured reviews and established coding standards.
- Integrate microservices and APIs into customer systems to ensure smooth end-to-end workflows.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
- Mentor engineers and encourage a culture of learning, clarity, and collaboration.
- Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command of Python with frameworks like Flask, CherryPy, or FastAPI.
- Solid experience in unit testing (unittest / pytest / nose).
- Expertise in REST API development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and service discovery.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, neural nets, NLP).
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into application workflows is a plus.
- Strong exposure to OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
- Understanding of 5G Core, NFV, and orchestration concepts.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile development.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, encryption, RBAC/IAM solutions.
- Familiarity with security tools like SonarQube, SAST/DAST, and secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- Understanding of API gateways, microservices security, and network/application security.
Good to Have
- Exposure to IaC tools like Gitea, FluxCD, Crossplane.
- Experience with BPMN tools (e.g., Camunda).
- Awareness of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and fixes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
