HGV Driver - Collecting waste from Lancashire County Council HWRCs and Blackburn & Darwen HWRCs and tipping at disposal points.

Are you an experienced HGV Driver, or perhaps a newly qualified driver looking to join a national brand working towards a greener future and make a positive impact?

What You’ll Do

As a brand ambassador for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will drive and operate the vehicles used to collect industrial and commercial waste and recycle from our customers. With a positive attitude you will also ensure that our customers' and our own health and safety regulations are always followed, providing a high standard of service.

About The Role

• Location: Darwen
• RoRo driving essential
• Salary: £30,647.24 per annum
• Working 37 hours per week
• 2 x positions available - Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday
• Both start times: 08:00 to 17:15 including 45 minute paid lunch break
• Bank holiday working as per the rostered days @1.5%
• Included in Salary enhancements for weekend working
• Hourly rate £13.41 plus 1.25% for Saturday and 1.5% for Sunday working

What You’ll Need to Apply

Essential:

• LGV Class 2 license & CPC card.
• Demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.

Desirable:

• Experience working in the waste industry.
• Working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV.
