Location: Stockton-On-Tees | Salary: £22,811 - 23,699 per year | Hours: 37 per week, term time only + 5 days | Closing Date: 15 May 2026
Job Summary
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a dedicated, organised and reliable person to join our SEND, Attendance and Student Support teams. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting some of our most vulnerable students. This is a varied role in a busy school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Play a key role in supporting students with SEND by coordinating meetings, paperwork, records and parent/carer communication
- Support the administration of attendance processes, including records, first response calls and relevant documentation
- Support Student Reception, including student queries, timetable checks, illness procedures, parent/carer contact and confiscated items
- Lead on first aid and medication administration records, including logging, tracking, stock checks and routine parent/carer communication
- Proofread and check Individual Education Plans, student profiles and SEND documentation before circulation to staff
- Provide high-quality administrative support, including accurate minute-taking, diary management, filing, data input and routine correspondence
- Liaise professionally with families, staff and external professionals, acting as a trusted and appropriate point of contact
- Help maintain effective SEND, attendance and student support systems, with training and development provided where required
