Role Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the teaching and learning of the children.
  • Responsibility for assessment and support plans for the children within your class.
  • Communication with parents.
  • Coordinating support staff and working collaboratively with the team.
  • All duties and responsibilities as set out in the Teacher Standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of working in Key Stage 2.
  • Experience of working with children who have communication and interaction needs.
  • Experience of working with children who have cognition and learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and a sense of humour.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • The ability and passion to become part of the 'Pentland Family' and the desire to contribute to that.
  • The desire and ability to make a difference to lives of children within our school.
