About the Role

  • Support good attendance in school by working with key staff, young people and their families to remove the barriers that lead to poor attendance.
  • Provide operational and administrative support with the implementation of attendance processes up to and including referrals for prosecution.
  • Carry out daily attendance monitoring, meeting with parents when required.
  • Liaise with parents with regards to pupil leave of absence.
  • Build caring, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
