Registered Night Nurse : St Helens

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This role is for 48 hours per week on nights (4x 12hr shifts).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote a positive healthcare environment.
  • Stay informed about advancements in nursing practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to patient care.
  • Proven experience in medication administration within a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.
